USAGE

Seed Rate/ Sowing method- line sowing with row to row and plant to plant distance/ direct sowing

     Rate of Seeding: 40–50 g/acre.

    Sowing: Set up a 180 by 90 by 15 cm raised bed for a hectare. There must be ten or twelve beds.

    Weeds and debris should not be present in the nursery. It is advised to seed lines.

    Two rows apart are spaced 8–10 cm (four fingers apart).

    Seeds are planted in a line at a depth of 0.5 to 1.0 cm, with a spacing of 3–4 cm (two fingers) between each seed.

    Transplantation: 21–25 days following seeding is when transplants should be completed.

    Row to Row and Plant to Plant spacing is 120 by 60.

    Total N:P:K needed per acre at 100:150:150 kg.

    Dosage and Timing:

    Base Dosage: When preparing the land for final use, apply 50% P and K and 33% N as the basal dose.

    Top Dressing: 30 days after transplanting, 33% N and the remaining P, K, and 50 days after transplanting, 34% N.
